Democrats failed to pass a vote in the Senate that would have reversed President Donald Trump’s Executive Order on “Unleashing American Energy” by a party-line of 53-47.

The White House claimed that scrapping emergency measures would threaten nearly 900,000.000 jobs and have a negative $3.6 trillion impact. This order promotes the production of domestic energy on federal land and eliminates a Biden-era effort to increase electric vehicle use.

Tim Kaine is out to deprive Americans. The executive order of President Donald Trump brings America to the future and unlocks prosperity. In a statement, deputy press secretary Anna Kelly stated that Senator Tim Caine wanted to destroy the American economy and threatened to lose nearly one million jobs.

Democratic Senators introduced the resolution. Tim Kaine, Martin Heinrich, and others argued that the President’s emergency declaration would benefit big oil but hurt Americans.

The Democratic Senators said, “The Trump Administration was living in a fantasy. The energy demand in America has never been higher. It is, therefore, great to see that we are producing more than ever before. When demand for American energy is high, reducing the supply is a quick way to increase prices. And that is exactly what Trump’s fake energy crisis will do.”

Trump’s declaration of emergency will help Big Oil by allowing them to more easily take Americans’ property and benefit from the price hike while leaving American consumers with fewer choices and paying higher prices.

On Wednesday morning, Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) slammed it as Democrats trying to thwart commonsense measures to combat “painfully expensive prices.”

After four years of careless regulations and restrictions, energy prices are up 31 percent. All across the nation, families are affected. This is what most Americans consider an energy crisis. Senate Democrats find it an unpalatable truth,” said he in a speech on the floor.

“This National Energy Emergency forms part of President Trump’s rapid actions. These actions are designed to release American energy. This is part of a broader vision for affordable, reliable, and available American energy. Democrats are against that,” the Republican said.

John Thune of the Senate Majority, R-SD, also criticized this Democrat initiative: “America is out of energy, even though we are facing huge power demand. We will be faced with some serious issues shortly if we do not take action. I am grateful that our president recognizes this energy crisis.”

Senate Energy Committee Chair Mike Lee (R-UT) said: “Senate Democrats have yet again attempted to block President Trump’s efforts to secure more affordable, reliable energy, just when America is most in need. The message they send to the families is simple: Pay more and expect less”.

The Trump administration stressed that ending the state of emergency would return policies from Biden’s time. A White House document stated, “Under these policies, in Biden’s initial two years, families averaged an additional $10,000 on energy costs, citing a report by the Committee to Unleash Prosperity.”

According to a December study conducted by S&P Global, the growth of LNG in the United States was expected to create half a million jobs each year and increase GDP by $1.3 trillion by 2040.
