White House Press Secretary Karoline Léavitt confirmed Tuesday that President Donald Trump signed an executive order to expand access to in vitro fertilization.

Leavitt stated in a blog post on X, “The Order directs policies recommendations to protect IVF accessibility and aggressively reduce costs of such treatments, both out-of-pocket and through health plans.”

The order also directs the formulation and implementation of policies that will safeguard access to IVF treatment. The order is part of the administration’s effort to make IVF treatment more affordable and accessible for those seeking reproductive services.
