Democrats are losing their mind trying to figure out how to respond to President Donald Trump’s whirlwind actions, especially in regards to DOGE.
The media has resorted to all sorts of ridiculous attacks, such as “Elon Musk was unelected”, even though he is acting on the orders of a president who is duly voted and the people that he is reviewing are “unelected”. They also make up stories like Musk will loot the Social Security of your grandfather.
Rep. John Larson, D-CT, tried to make this false accusation about a week back.
Musk should review the mess that has been made of finances, and he has already demonstrated why this is a good thing.
Larson was defending Musk on Monday in the House when something happened right as he was speaking. It’s pretty frightening as he seems to suddenly freeze.
He stopped talking suddenly and just stared, moving his tongue.
When he began to speak again, he spoke with a slur and mispronounced words such as “privacy.” He seemed to be a different person.
People were concerned when the clip went viral. They wondered if he was having a temporary ischemic episode (TIA). Many people wondered why no one came to his rescue immediately when it was obvious that there was a serious problem. They only said that “his time was up” on the spot. Others called for term limitations and/or health restrictions for members of Congress.
Larson, 76, has served in Congress since 1999. After the video went viral, his office responded.

“Congressman Larson is grateful for the good wishes of everyone who has reached us. His team said that he was having an adverse reaction this afternoon to a new medicine. He is being tested by the House Attending physician out of a sense of caution.
He was attentive and engaged. “The Congressman is in good spirits and remains in contact with his staff,” they said.
From Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-KY to Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, we’ve seen many different age/medical concerns in Congress. We’ve even seen a situation where a member was not voting in Congress because she had been living in an assisted-living home for several months.
Larson needs to be examined thoroughly. What they fail to mention is the condition or medication that Larson may be taking. If you’re a member of Congress, you owe it to your constituents to be transparent about what happened. When someone freezes, “reaction to medication” doesn’t answer the question.
