Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense, has taken the initial steps to remove the transgenderism blight from the Armed Forces. Hegseth issued a one-page memo directing the Pentagon’s upper management and the commanders of all combatant commands to halt the admission of transgender individuals into the Armed Forces. Hegseth followed the directives in President Trump’s Executive Order, “Prioritizing military excellence and readiness,” and ordered: “Effectively immediately, all new accession for individuals with a past of gender dysphoria is paused. And all unscheduled medical procedures, scheduled or planned, associated with affirming, or facilitating, a gender transformation for Service Members are paused.”

The separation of the transgender members currently serving is the next step.

We are witnessing a disturbing increase in violent behavior by female-to-male transgenders. It makes one wonder why they would be allowed to handle explosives and firearms. This nonsense creates a lot of problems, including morale and discipline. But it also poses a real issue when allowing people who require specialized medical treatment to join the military. You can’t join the military if you wear braces. You can’t join the military if you have been treated for ADHD in the past two years. We enlist those who are required to undergo major surgery or take controlled drugs, even though there is no guarantee they will receive the proper care once they enter military service.

Transgenders in the military and those who want to join are already suing over the Executive Order. We can expect activist judges to try to slow down the much-needed purge. But I believe Trump will win this battle.
