Proillegal Alien Demonstrators marching through Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday completely circled the 101 Freeway, shutting down traffic from both directions. LA Police were nowhere to be found.
Watch:
The demonstration follows a similar one in Oxnard, where participants burned the U.S. flag in the street while waving other countries’ flags. Several anti-ICE protests started across the nation on Friday.
A second post with a video from LA, this time by a fan who calls it a “human rights/anti-Trump protest”:
This video shows people chanting. A user on X describes the event as “anti-ICE”, and says that a similar protest was taking place in Dallas.
This is a snapshot of the traffic jams that have been caused by the protests in LA, later it seemed to ease up.
KABC broadcasted Sunday afternoon.
On Sunday, hundreds marched on the 101 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles in a “protest against deportations” that was called by some.
Many protesters waved Mexican Flags near Los Angeles Street and Aliso Streets.
The report added, “According to Caltrans District 7, the 101 remains closed in both directions between the 110 and Mission Road.”
Soledad Ursua is a Venice Neighborhood Council member and shares her thoughts on why LAPD doesn’t disperse or corral protesters. Anyone familiar with California Democrat politicians will not be surprised.
She writes:
If you are wondering โWhere are the police?โ LAPD has been on a tactical alert since Jan 7th due to the fires and not responding to non-emergency calls. Nearly 1/3 of LAPD is stationed in the Palisades. Incompetent elected officials are ruining this city
The Democrats will be questioned about their ability to address the serious problems that California faces.
UPDATE: Police are now on the scene
