Presley Gerber, Son of Cindy Crawford, Dies at 27

Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died, a family spokesperson confirmed Monday.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office reported that Gerber died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility. Authorities have not yet determined or released a cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing.

“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” the family’s representative said in a statement.

Gerber followed in his mother’s footsteps, building a career in the modeling industry alongside his younger sister, actress and model Kaia Gerber. The family has long maintained a prominent position in both entertainment and business circles. Rande Gerber, Presley’s father, co-founded the Casamigos tequila brand with actor George Clooney before selling the company in a deal that attracted significant attention in the business world.

The young model shared a notable professional moment with his mother in 2018, when the pair recreated Crawford’s iconic 1992 Pepsi commercial for Super Bowl LII. At the time, Presley was 18 years old.

Crawford spoke about the experience of working alongside her son during an interview, describing the professional milestone with evident maternal pride. “Just as a mother, we drove to work together that day and we shared the same trailer,” Crawford said. “And when he was doing his thing, I was just a proud mom watching from the sidelines, trying not to annoy him.”

The circumstances surrounding Gerber’s presence at the rehabilitation facility and the events leading to his death have not been made public. The Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct further tests to determine the cause of death, a process that can take several weeks to complete.
