A manhunt is currently underway for a homicide suspect following the discovery of his girlfriend’s body in upstate New York.
According to the Cohoes Police Department, 53-year-old Anthony Bechand has been missing since Sunday morning when his girlfriend, 41-year-old Amanda Rodriguez, was found dead in her Cohoes home. The New York State Police were called in to assist with the investigation.
Authorities report that Bechand fled in an unknown direction, wearing unspecified clothing. The evidence suggests that Rodriguez and Bechand shared the single-family residence where her body was discovered.

Initially, Bechand was believed to be traveling in a white 2024 Chevrolet Suburban. However, New York State Police have since located this vehicle on County Route 60 at its intersection with County Route 86 in the Town of Brighton, Franklin County.
