We reported that Donald Trump, the President-elect has nominated Kash Patel to be FBI Director.
Patel has been a favorite among Trump supporters, and it will be difficult to say that he’s not qualified. He is an attorney with a lot of experience in trials. He has also served as the Chief of Staff for the Department of Defense and the Deputy Director of National Intelligence.
How can you tell if it’s the right choice? The right people are angry. They know Patel will not be an ordinary Republican who maintains the status quo. He’s going to clean things up.
Andrew McCabe, a former FBI official, threw a fit immediately after the announcement. Imagine CNN asking McCabe for his opinion on anything.
This is a horrible development, not only for the FBI but also for the entire nation, which depends on an independent, highly functioning Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Kash Patel’s profound ineptitude for this position isn’t even a subject for discussion.
What does this mean for Donald Trump’s intentions with the FBI?
McCabe stated that such a nomination could only be “a plan to disrupt the FBI, to dismantle it, to distract from its mission,” and “possibly” to use the FBI to further Trump’s political agenda.
There is a plan that will “disrupt” any further misuse of or weaponization by the FBI. The people have mandated that Trump address this issue, and Patel, on the “Shawn Ryan Show”, has stated that he will return the focus to fighting crime.
McCabe’s opposition to him was seen by many as a positive recommendation.
Leftists and anti-Trump forces are in a real rage. It’s not even January when the Trump team will start to re-make things. People voted for Donald Trump because they want things done. The Democrats will fight this appointment tooth and nail. But the Republicans must hold together to pass it, to honor the mandate of their people.
