We have officially entered the realm of surrealism. Joe Biden – he was once president, remember? Joe Biden is now represented by a Hollywood agency. Not just any talent agent, but the Creative Artists Agency.
Yes, really.
Joe Biden signed with Creative Artists Agency to represent him as he enters his post-presidential years.
Richard Lovett is the co-chairman for CAA. He said, “President Biden has a powerful voice in America’s national and international affairs. His lifelong commitment to public services is one of optimism, dignity, and possibilities. We are deeply honored to partner with him again.”
Lovett and his co-chairs Bryan Lourd, Kevin Huvane, and others have been prominent Hollywood backers of Biden’s and Kamala’s re-election campaigns as well as those of other Democratic candidates.
Richard Lovett is a good manager of actors and actresses but judging presidents with his judgment is not just bad, it’s also delusional. Giorgia Melons of Italy can attest that Joe Biden is the opposite of influential and respected.
Joe, the befuddled vice president, signed up with CAA between his two terms as… 2020.
The move by the Delaware politician is a return home for Biden, and for the agency that represented him in his wilderness years after his vice presidential election from 2017 until his victory over Donald Trump in 2020. Biden wrote a book, Promise Me, Dad, about his son Beau’s cancer battle, and embarked upon a paid nationwide tour during that period.
A Hollywood talent agency signing a man for a book seems illogical. That would be the domain of a publisher and in this case a good ghostwriter. While on the speaking tour, it is likely that Joe was talking to the audience about his time in the Senate, and then as Vice President, which would have required some acting. It’s almost certain he wrote some creative fiction.

What if Joe wants to retire in his golden years with a career as an actor? There are a few projects that may suit his personality and skills. Here is a list of possible projects:
- In a new episode of “Tales From the Crypt,” I play the Crypt Keeper.
- Playing the titular character in a remake “Weekend at Bernie’s.”
- Role as “Yukon Cornelius”, in a live-action Disney remake of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” except that Yukon carries a cup of juice instead of a revolver.
- Playing Robert DeNiro in a tragic remake of “Awakenings” where none of its patients awaken.
- Renfield is a supporting role in the new remake of “Dracula”.
There are infinite possibilities. No matter what Joe Biden does next, there is one thing we will always be grateful for:
He is no longer the president.
