Wendy Williams fans attacked Sabrina Morrissey, her guardian after Wendy revealed shocking information about her conservatorship and said that she felt like she was ‘in prison’.
The 60-year-old TV personality who has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia called into The Breakfast Club on Thursday morning to discuss ’emotional abuse’.
The former host of a talk show told Charlamagne Tha God, and Jess Hilarious that she wasn’t ‘cognitively handicapped’ but was “trapped in a facility” in New York.
Williams claimed that Morrissey took her old phone, and only left her with the new one. The new phone allows her to place calls.
Wendy, who will be placed under guardianship in 2022, cried at one point. Alex Finnie, her niece, was present to support Wendy.
After the interview, social media users jumped onto X to express their opinions. Some called for a #FreeWendy movement.

‘I am definitely isolated. To talk to these people who live here is not my cup of tea. I keep the door closed.’
Wendy replied, “I’m not a TV watcher.” “I listen to the radio, I look out of the window and I watch my daily life as I sit here in this window.
Alex, her niece joined the call and explained that Williams also had a “bed, a couch, and a television in addition to a bathroom.” She also looked out one window at buildings across the street.
Alex said, “She’s there every day, at all times, every week, and every month.” She doesn’t get proper sunlight.
I visited her in New York City last October. I was horrified by the level of security and questions like “Who am I? Why exactly am I here? Why do I even exist?
