The political operation of President Donald Trump has hundreds of millions of dollars in its bank account, despite the fact that he cannot run for a third term.
The Hill reported that people close to the President are already debating who will receive the money and what it will be spent on.
A source told The Hill that “the question of the war chest, and what’s it being used for, is a very large conversation.”
After the election, his campaign was transformed into a leadership PAC named Never Surrender. According to the campaign filings, there was more than $27 million in the PAC at the end of the year.

The Hill reported that a large amount of money will be spent in 2026 on midterm elections as Republicans aim to increase their majority in the House and Senate.
A Republican strategist told The Hill that he thought a large amount of the money would be transferred to SLF or CLF, the Senate Leadership Fund, and the Congressional Leadership Fund. Some people might say that it is malpractice if not, and they would just try to use the money themselves.
Trump has hinted at running for a second term despite the 22nd Amendment which states, “No one shall be elected as president more than two times.”
Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) recently proposed a constitutional amendment that would allow him to run for a third term, while other lawmakers have dismissed Trump’s musing as a joke.
