Authorities reported that two people were killed and four others injured in a shooting at a Tacoma house party.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, shortly after midnight on Saturday, deputies responded to the large gathering and saw 30-40 juveniles screaming and running from the house.

Authorities said that deputies found a male victim on the street. They attempted to save his life, but the male was declared dead.

Five more victims were taken to hospitals, where one died from his injuries. According to the sheriff’s department, other victims are still hospitalized and will likely recover.
Authorities said that the victims’ ages ranged from 16 to 21.
Authorities report that nearby vehicles and homes were damaged by the shooting. Investigators are still on the scene.
The sheriff’s office said: “This is yet another reminder of how dangerous it can get when parties go out of control.”
