On Saturday, there was a “Tesla Takedown”, where a number of protests were held across the nation against Elon Musk.

Signs were posted in New York City encouraging violence against Tesla and, even more disturbing, signs that suggested violence against Elon Musk. In Ohio, a man was yelling at a Tesla driver, forcing the police to intervene.

Idaho’s anti-Tesla demonstration outside Boise was the most violent of the day.

At the time of the accident, there was a protest at a Tesla dealership, with about 30 protesters and 200 counter-protesters. In a statement, the Meridian Police Department stated that the victim was a counter-protester.

The preliminary investigation found that Christopher Talbot, 70, of Meridian, made a sexist gesture toward a victim aged 49 before hitting him with his vehicle. The victim was driving a truck that had pro-Trump banners on it and was about to park and exit his vehicle when Talbot hit him with his car, according to reports.

This is nuts.

The victim, fortunately, was able to drive himself to the hospital, where he received treatment for injuries that were not life-threatening. Observe that the counter-protesters are more numerous than the protesters. It’s likely because it’s Idaho, but it probably riled up the anti-Tesla people.

Talbot’s actions were not very clever because cars have license plates. The victim gave this information to the police, who tracked Talbot down and charged him with aggravated assault.

Violence seems to be increasing, and it is now affecting people as well as cars.

We have not heard any clear call for action from Democrats who have been spreading lies and fear against Elon Musk. The “wink-nod” of people like Jimmy Kimmel, or the laughter by the Daily Show audience about the “Tesla terror,” is part of the problem. It makes unhinged individuals think that attacking Teslas in some way is acceptable behavior.

They believe they are doing the right thing, but they don’t realize that they hold some very twisted views. They may not realize or care about how extreme their actions can be.
