Recent Democratic attacks on DOGE, Elon Musk, and other companies have been both foolish and desperate.

Fear-mongering about “Elon Musk not being elected” or “him having access to data”.

So, what? Democrats are not bothered by the fact that you can make the same claim about the majority of federal employees. These unelected employees can access data. Democrats don’t have any problem with random employees. But they do have a problem if it is a guy with top-notch security clearances who works for us free of charge under the direction and supervision of duly elected President Donald Trump. Elon was a key part of Trump’s campaign.

It’s a coup. It’s illegal. It’s a “constitutional crisis.”

What is the difference between a federal employee acting on the orders of a duly elected president and a “coup”, or anything else? The Democrats are trying to stop the president’s power by trying to save an “unelected bureaucracy” and taking all sorts of nefarious measures.

Elon is somehow stealing our money

This would be a clever trick if his team had only “read-only” access to the data.

All of these arguments are designed to instill fear into people. People are not falling for it. This tactic, in my opinion, only serves to further enrage the American public. What are you hiding if you want DOGE to stop reviewing the books?

Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-CA will surely add to the list of dumb statements made by the Dems.

Why won’t Elon reveal the savings made from DOGE? What is he trying to hide? Swalwell replied.

What a scumbag. It’s cool to know that unaccountable, real bureaucrats have misappropriated our money. This Democrat isn’t concerned about it and instead attacks the man who leads the team that is uncovering the fraud. According to him, Elon is the one hiding things.

Imagine how absurd that would be. Elon Musk could be even more transparent with Trump. He posts about the findings on his X account. They also have a website that lists the actual savings – line item by item. The “wall of receipts” is a collection of all the documents. The website says that $55 billion in savings has been achieved so far through a combination of fraud detection and deletion, contract/lease cancelations, contract/lease negotiations, asset sales, grant cancellations, workforce reductions, and programmatic changes.

Swalwell is not a member of Congress if he can’t do even five seconds of research. How can anyone be confident that Swalwell can do his job if he cannot do something as simple?

Musk himself slammed these accusations during his interview with Trump and Fox’s Sean Hannity.

Musk said that what we saw with all of these objections was the “thrashing (about]” the bureaucracy… as it is being removed.
