The pardon by President Joe Biden of his son Hunter created a whirlwind. People from all sides weighed in, some upset that Biden lied about the matter, insisting that he would not pardon his child.
Even White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre who has given Biden all sorts of excuses during her tenure at the White House had difficulty spinning this one.
Jon Stewart, the late-night host of The Daily Show, just nailed it with a hilarious bit in which he slammed the Democrats’ hypocrisy.
In the middle of it all, there is a wild story.
Shaun Maguire works as a partner in the venture capital company Sequoia. He’s also been a fascinating person to watch on X in the last few months, as he has been open about his political evolution. It is similar to Elon Musk.
He was furious at the pardon. He also added an interesting comment about the pardon.
Hunter Biden’s civil obligations to a landlord will not be excused by a federal pardon. He’s not lying, he is making a point. However, the statute of limitation could make it difficult to pursue.
What was funny was the next thing Maguire said about Hunter’s alleged plan to pay off what he owed.
“Hunter was our tenant in Venice, CA. Didn’t pay rent for over a year. Tried to pay w/ art made from his own feces. Absolute s– bag,” Maguire wrote, adding in a follow-up post that the rent was $25,000 a month for the house, which is located on the canals in Venice, California.
Hunter also said he “changed the lock and used secret services to enforce. We were not allowed to enter the property.”

When asked about the possibility that he could be evicted, Maguire responded they were “a kind of scary family to go and after.”
Isn’t it telling that Hunter pays his rent in this way? Who would think that way? Now that his father will no longer be in office, his “art” may take a nosedive. He won’t have the chance to do such strange things in the future. Joe Biden is no longer in office and has lost his influence. The Bidens will have to face this reality.
Hunter has reportedly had problems paying rent before.
Last year, we wrote the report regarding the home of Sweetgreen’s CEO and cofounder Jonathan Neman located in Venice Beach. Hunter rented out the house but left it “in disarray”, with $80,000 in unpaid rent. The home was also rented at $25,000 per month. The stereo equipment was destroyed in that home.
