DOGE’s first deep dive into an agency review has created quite a stir, especially the DOGE’s investigation into the many bad things that were happening with USAID.

We reported the other week that Sen. John Kennedy, R-LA, called out some of his Democratic colleagues as well as the woke, for “screaming and yelling like they were part of a jail riot because they didn’t want us to review the spending.”

On Thursday, he did it again, this time on the Senate floor, when he blasted the Democrats and USAID out of orbit. He listed some of the things the Democrats didn’t want you to know.

What Musk found out, I will tell you. It’s fascinating.

He found out that American taxpayers give money to Afghanistan.

He discovered that we were giving money to Yemen.

He discovered that we give money to Syria. [….]

He discovered that USAID employs 10,000 people. [….]

He discovered that USAID provided money to support electric cars in Vietnam. Our money is taxpayer money.

He discovered that USAID had given money to a clinic for transgender people in India. I didn’t even know it. You bet the American public didn’t even know.

He discovered that USAID had given $ 1.5 million to a Serbian LGBTQ organization… to “promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in Serbia’s business community and workplaces.” [….]

He reviewed a report and then checked it. The Middle East Forum conducted the study. The study found that USAID spent $164 million to support radical groups around the globe. Here, we’re not talking about Cub Scout troops. The money was spent on groups that are aligned with terrorist organizations abroad.

According to this report…the USAID has given millions of dollars to “organizations in Gaza controlled by Hamas.” Why, why aren’t my colleagues talking about that? Recipients of the money they found have, “called for their lands to be cleansed from the impurity of Jews.” That’s who we’re giving foreign aid to? [….]

He discovered that USAID gave us $2 million for sex changes in Guatemala.

He discovered that we had given $20 million for the production of a new Sesame Street in Iraq.

He discovered that $4.5 million in taxpayer money was spent to combat misinformation and disinformation in Kazakhstan.

He discovered that USAID gave meals worth $10 million to a terrorist group linked to al-Qaeda called Nusra Front.

Mr. Musk discovered that taxpayer money was given to a project to teach Sri Lankan reporters to avoid binary gendered speech. The USAID gave 8 million dollars to journalists in Sri Lanka so they could learn how to avoid binary language. Do you think that most taxpayers will support this?

USAID has given $1.5 million for the promotion of LGBT rights in Jamaica.

The Cuban media ecosystem was rebuilt with $1.5 million.

The donation was for the “art for inclusion of persons with disabilities in Belarus.”

Macedonia receives another $3.9 million to support LGBT issues.

Nepal to receive $8.3 Million for education on equity and inclusion

They are very upset with Elon Musk. Hell, we should give him an award.

It would be terrible if only half of this was true. This list is not even close to being complete.

As Sen. Joni Ernest (R-IA), explained, USAID is not forthcoming when Congress members ask questions. She says that when she asked about the money being sent to Ukraine, she was threatened. President Trump, fortunately, has launched an investigation into USAID’s mess.

Kennedy clarified that he was not saying that all of USAID’s actions were bad, but that Secretary Marco Rubio who is now acting USAID Administrator, would separate the good from the bad. He noted that Democrats wanted to attack Musk’s process and didn’t want him to discuss all of the negative things he found.

Elon Musk replied to the video above by saying “Thanks to Kennedy”.

The DOGE team must publish a report on what they have found in each department. The Trump investigation should look into not only what the money was supposed to be used for, but also where it went, who benefited from the payout, what percentage of money goes to the cause, whether the funds are in line with U.S. interest, and the results. This will expose all the bad actors, and explain why people are so upset.

Kennedy’s extended remarks are below. All the effort is worth it.
