Charlie Sheen, a renowned actor, has alleged that former U.S. President Bill Clinton expressed interest in his girlfriend during the 1980s. This claim has been made in Sheen’s freshly published memoir, “The Book of Sheen”.
Sheen encountered the former president, who was then the governor of Arkansas, while he was filming the 1987 movie “Three for the Road” in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sheen, accompanied by actress Dolly Fox, whom he was dating at that time, and his co-stars Alan Ruck and Kerri Green, were invited to the governor’s mansion for a photo op.
Reports indicate that Sheen alleges an incident where Ruck informed him of Clinton’s alleged interest in Fox. “I was answering a reporter’s questions when Ruck overheard Clinton whisper to one of his aides: ‘Find out what you can about the brunette.’ The brunette was Dolly,” Sheen wrote in his memoir.
This development follows earlier reports of Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky, a White House intern, during his presidency in the mid-1990s. The facts, as we now know them, reveal that Clinton initially denied the affair but later, under oath, admitted to an “inappropriate relationship.”

Sheen suggests in his memoir that the alleged incident involving Fox was an indication that Clinton’s “behavior” preceded the highly-publicized scandal involving Lewinsky. “Clearly the behavior that transformed a harmless intern a few years later into a household name had been in play long before her blue dress became famous,” Sheen claimed.
The significance of this becomes clearer when we consider that Sheen reportedly shared his account of the Clinton-Fox story during his stay in a rehabilitation center, while the Clinton-Lewinsky impeachment proceedings were being televised.
Sheen’s memoir also delves into his own personal life, recounting his Hollywood childhood, career highs and lows, three marriages, struggles with substance abuse and sex addiction, and his journey towards sobriety. His memoir was released on September 9, followed by the premiere of his documentary series, “aka Charlie Sheen,” on Netflix on September 10.
And that’s the way it is. The facts, as we now know them, are these: Sheen’s memoir makes serious allegations about former President Clinton, placing them in a broader context of his own tumultuous life history and the well-known scandals surrounding Clinton’s presidency. However, it’s important to remember that these claims are as yet unverified and that the truth of the situation, as always, lies in the careful examination of the evidence.
