This should save some money for taxpayers. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Scott Turner and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Kristi Noem signed a “memorandum of agreement” on Monday that ended the use of federal funds to house illegal immigrants.
What a great idea!
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Scott Turner and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Kristi Noem signed a Memorandum of Understanding today, “American Housing Programs for American Citizens”, to stop the misappropriation of taxpayer funds to illegal aliens and instead benefit American citizens.
HUD will also provide a staff member who is full-time to help with the operations of the Incident Command Center. This new agreement establishes an interagency collaboration to share data and to ensure that taxpayer-funded housing programs are not used for illegal aliens to be housed or to benefit them.

“American tax dollars must be used to benefit American citizens, particularly when dealing with a crisis as urgent as the housing crisis in our country,” stated Secretary Scott Turner. This new agreement will use resources, including personnel and technology, to ensure that the American people are given priority in public housing. We will continue working closely with DHS to maximize our resources, and to put American citizens before anything else.
The Biden administration prioritized illegal aliens over American citizens and gave illegal aliens taxpayer-funded housing at the expense of Americans. No more. The government will all work together to stop abuses and exploitations of public benefits and to ensure that those who are in the country illegally do not receive federal benefits or any other financial incentives for them to remain illegally. You should leave the country if you are an illegal alien. “The gravy train has ended,” said Secretary Kristi Noem.
This will likely be challenged, and probably before one of the many activist judges who have sprung up in recent years like dandelions in a sunny summer day. But once again, it’s the left who finds themselves in an interesting (and funny) position, defending the use of taxpayer funds to feed and house people who are illegally in the country. They are once again on the 20% side of an 80-20 debate.

It seems like a win/win situation.
It should go beyond just housing. This would include departments other than HUD and DHS. All government benefits, including SNAP, housing, energy assistance, and even a quarter to make a call – assuming there are still pay phones – should be available only to legal residents. You’re on your own if you enter illegally. No food, no shelter, nothing. If you’re a worker, we will tax you to death on any money you send home unless you have a work permit or green card. When you turn around, there will be an ICE agent.
It’s time to restore the rule of Law in the United States. It’s a step forward, and we can see once again that it only took a new President to make a difference.
