Our nation’s guardians of justice are under siege, and the weapon of choice is as American as apple pie… or in this case, pepperoni pizza.
Federal judges across our nation are facing a new kind of threat, one that arrives not with a bang, but with a doorbell ring. It’s called “pizza doxxing,” and it’s about as welcome as a rattlesnake in a boot.
These aren’t your garden-variety prank calls. No sir. These unsolicited pizzas are being ordered in the name of Daniel Anderl, the son of Judge Esther Salas, who was tragically gunned down in 2020. It’s a chilling reminder that sends shivers down the spine of every jurist who’s sworn to uphold our Constitution.

Threats against our judiciary have been rising faster than a thermometer in August. The U.S. Marshals Service reports over 450 threats in 2023 alone, which is more than triple the number from just four years ago.
What kind of America are we living in when those who safeguard our liberties can’t even answer their front door without fear? It’s as un-American as trying to rope the wind.
Judge Salas calls these incidents “psychological warfare.” And she’s not wrong. These pizza deliveries might seem harmless on the surface, but they carry the weight of menace heavier than a loaded freight train.

The stakes couldn’t be higher, folks. This isn’t just about unwanted toppings – it’s about the very fabric of our democracy. When judges can’t do their jobs without looking over their shoulders, we’re all in deep trouble.
Our justice system, like our nation, is resilient. But it needs our support, our respect, and our unwavering commitment to the rule of law. Because in the end, the price of freedom isn’t paid in pepperoni and cheese – it’s paid in courage. And that’s a currency we can’t afford to be short on.
Remember, in times like these, we must stand as one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all… even if it means saying “no” to free pizza.
