Early Sunday morning, federal agents arrested nearly 50 illegal immigrants during an operation targeting networks of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua in Colorado.

Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Rocky Mountain Field Division, said that its agents, along with partners from the Denver offices of Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, conducted an operation early in the morning targeting drug trafficking and TdA Members in Adams County, Colorado.

The raid was conducted in the early morning hours of Saturday, targeting what federal authorities called a “makeshift club” that had been “invited-only” and located in Adams County. The DEA reported that “dozens of people connected to Tren de Aragua” (TdA), a gang, were present.

The agency posted photos on X of illegal immigrants in handcuffs lined up in the snow.

One post stated that “Drugs and weapons were confiscated in Adams County.” “Nearly fifty illegal aliens have been taken into custody.”

A second post showed a video of the bus that was used to transport the illegal immigrants. The DEA stated that many of the detainees are linked to Venezuela’s TdA gang but did not give a breakdown.

Tom Homan, President Donald Trump’s border czar, is leading the operation. He has prioritized apprehending illegal criminal immigrants in all parts of the country.

Since Trump’s election, ICE has conducted raids in Colorado, New York City, and Buffalo, N.Y.; Boston, California and Minnesota. Hundreds of illegal immigrants were detained.

Deportation flights, according to the White House, have begun. Trump announced Sunday that the U.S. will launch retaliatory actions against Colombia for refusing to allow two deportation flight.
