Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-MD, made it clear that the left would be stepping up their protests on the streets in opposition to President Donald Trump. They are utterly irrational because Elon Musk’s DOGE team and special government employees are working as part of the Executive Office of the President to review government spending.
Democrats have leveled all sorts of ridiculous accusations against Trump and Musk. This is especially true since Musk has been investigating the USAID hornet’s nest.
Rep. Hakeem Jeffreys (D-NY), even accused Musk of “raiding government, trying to steal taxpayer money from the Treasury Department”.
They received a Community Note stating that they cannot even remove or access money when they have only “read-only access”. The Democrats haven’t backed down from their lies and attempts to incite anger towards Trump and Musk.
They used all the usual leftist demonstrations, such as MoveOn, to get people out to the Treasury. Democrats even attempted to enter the building and threw themselves into a performance. It’s not surprising that they didn’t let them in, given the threats made by some Democrats in their speeches. The signs read “coup” or “No one elected Elon Musk”, but they forgot that the majority of government employees including those at USAID are also not elected. Donald Trump was the guy elected, and it was he who authorized this spending review, as he was perfectly within his rights to do. That’s what they are terrified of.
The hysteria reached new heights.
This sounded a lot like a warning from Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-TX.
Elizabeth Warren, a senator from Massachusetts (D), claimed that Elon played with your grandfather’s Social Security check.
She said that he “stole the power of the American people and we are here fighting back !!!”
Remember when Democrats thought “fight” was insurrectionary?
Rep. Becca Balint, D-VT, said that she would be “the scrappy little dyke”, the “movement”, needed.
They chanted that Musk should be jailed because they thought he had broken the law.
Rep. Ayanna Presley (D-MA), calling Musk a Nazi Nepo Bay, called for street agitation.
Mad Max claimed that this was not Musk’s or Trump’s land, even though both are citizens of the country. She encouraged people to “fight.”
Talk about inciting an uprising. Rep. LaMonica McIver, D-NJ, called on people to “Shut Down the City!” Because “we are at war!!!”
The crowd chanted “Shut down the Senate.”
This action will probably convince you that the Democrats are in complete decline. The Democrats are still under the control of the radical left and have completely lost their way.
