Four individuals have tragically lost their lives in a shooting incident at a bar in Montana, as authorities continue their search for the suspect.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) reported that multiple people were shot in the incident. The authorities are in pursuit of a suspect who remains at large. The shooting has been reported to have taken place at the Owl Bar.

Officials have urged citizens to stay clear of the Anaconda area. The Granite County Sheriff’s office has stated that the suspect’s residence has been cleared by a SWAT team, but the suspect remains at large. Reports indicate that a white F-150, initially pursued out of Anaconda, was later stopped in Deer Lodge County. However, it was confirmed that the person in question was not the suspect. The Sheriff’s office also reported an active shooter in Anaconda Deer Lodge, with deputies stationed at the Georgetown Lake / Flint Creek area. The suspect is said to be wearing a tie-dyed shirt, blue jeans, and an orange bandana. They emphasized that at present, there is no immediate threat to Granite County.

Sandra Barker, a spokesperson for the FBI’s Salt Lake City office, which covers Montana, stated that the FBI is assisting in the response to the shooting but referred further questions to local authorities.
