Donald Trump called on the company that built the Keystone pipeline to finish it in America. He’s also promising to speed up the process.

Former President Joe Biden, on his first day of office, signed several executive orders, which included revoking permits signed in the last 4 years, that did not serve the U.S. National Interest, including revoking the Presidential Permit granted to the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Trump, who had made the return of American energy independence a cornerstone in his presidential campaign called out on Truth Social to the company involved with the pipeline, TC Energy Corporation, to “get it constructed.”

“Our Country’s doing really well, and today, I was just thinking, that the company building the Keystone XL Pipeline that was viciously jettisoned by the incompetent Biden Administration should come back to America, and get it built — NOW!” he wrote.

The Trump Administration is different. Easy approvals and almost immediate start!

Trump suggested that if TC Energy Corp. does not want to take on the project’s revival, he would be open to another stepping in.

“We want Keystone XL Pipeline to be built!” He emphasized.

There has been a lot written about the Keystone XL Pipeline since Trump’s election in November.

Former Keystone workers said that reviving the project would “make a huge difference” to the American people in terms of lowering their everyday costs, such as “your food, your energy, and your gasoline.”

The pipeline is designed to transport crude from Alberta, Canada, and the northern U.S.A. to refineries on the Gulf Coast. It has a maximum capacity of 830,000 barrels a day.

It was originally planned to be completed in early 2023. This would have allowed it to transport that capacity while lowering costs. Fox News reports that it would have “created between 16,149 to 59,000 jobs, and had a positive impact on the economy of between $3.4 billion and $9.6 million, according to various studies.”

Mark McManus (General President of the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters, UA) predicted that energy prices would rise after Biden killed off the project.

He said, “For the average American household, this means higher energy costs and the communities won’t see the local investment that comes with pipeline construction.”

These costs did increase.

In his attempt to appease climate alarmists Biden also killed a project that TC Energy Corp. had promised would be environmentally friendly.

The company said in a similar statement that they would “achieve net zero emissions for all project operations” by 2023, and “be powered entirely by renewable energy sources by 2030”.

Biden’s first day as president was a disaster for American workers and the environment.

Trump’s second-term efforts to restore energy independence to the United States will be a triumph of his unbridled brilliance.
