While politicians and activists on the Left are always complaining about political violence, and decrying violent rhetoric, they don’t seem to put their money where their mouths are. The left has been responsible for the majority of violent political acts, whether it’s Lee Harvey Oswald or modern-day sex-reassignment surgery.
Here’s another example from a Congressman: Rep. Nancy Mace, (R-SC), called out Robert Garcia, (D-CA), for saying that “actual weapons” should be used to stop Elon Musk, and his efforts at the Department of Government Efficiency.
During a conversation with a CNN talk show host, Rep. Garcia (profanity warning) said:
Elon Musk is a d**k.
The American public is also being harmed by him, so I believe it’s important that we bring real weapons to the bar fight. It’s vital to resist the chairman of the committee. This is a fight for democracy and the future of the country.
Marjorie Taylor Greene speaks about decorum and bipartisanship. This is the one who lies the most in Congress. If she’s going to make hearings a joke, I want us Democrats to bring the same energy. After those remarks, we discussed what Elon Musk was trying to achieve. Dismantling of the Department of Labor. Dismantling our consumer protection agencies, including the Department of Education.
It’s important to call Elon Musk for what he is and let the American people know Marjorie Taylor Greene’s not a serious politician and shouldn’t treated as one.
Let’s ignore the comment about “actual weapons” for a minute and dissect the rest of Rep. Garcia’s little screed.
First of all, the United States doesn’t have a democracy. We can’t fight to change that. The United States is a constitutional republic. And the president, who was voted in by a large margin, campaigned and promised endlessly what Elon and the DOGE were doing. He even named Elon as the right man for the job during the campaign. The president is doing the job he was chosen to do. This included finding and eliminating wasteful government expenditures and getting the federal government to conform to its constitution. Rep. Garcia also uses the word “lies”, just like Democrats, when referring to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Democrats define “lies” by “anything Democrats don’t agree with.” To the dismantling of the Departments of Labor, Education, or Consumer Protection Agencies, I only have one thing to say: “Don’t make me miss a good time.”

What about the first comment? “…to bring weapons to this barfight.” What does he intend by this? He’s using a metaphor. It does not sound like a metaphor. It sounds like a call to violence. I’d bet a large sum of money that if a Republican congressman used these exact words to describe a Democrat politician, or operative, there would be a clamor from the left. The shrieking of “incitement to violence” is deafening. What else is Rep. Garcia saying here? The graphic that accompanied the CNN interview shows an image of a man (presumably Elon Musk) with a large blood-red “X”. Sarah Palin used crosshairs in her election campaign to indicate strategic Congressional districts. The left screamed “bloody murder” – literally. This is a more direct threat.
It seems that this is the Democrats’ mainstay. They should be very careful when they call for violent protests, whether they are a veiled call, which they can claim is a euphemism, such as this, or more directly, like the ones we hear on college campuses and in street demonstrations.
We should be aware that the left is not the side with the most guns.
