DOGE is extremely popular among the American public. While Democrats may whine about it, in reality, they are just whistling into the wind. When they speak out against eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse, they make themselves look foolish.
One of the things that DOGE has highlighted was all the active social security numbers of millions of people over 100 years old
In his Tuesday Joint Address to Congress, President Donald Trump noted that 130,000 of them were older than 160 years. He joked, “We have a healthier country that I thought, Bobby” to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., his Secretary of Health and Human Services.
You can see Democrats in the crowd objecting. They think that it’s cool, and they don’t believe there is a problem. Most Americans are aware of the problem and want it fixed.
Sen. John Kennedy, R-LA, told Fox’s Larry Ludlow that he has been pushing for a bill to stop this practice and to cut off “money paid to dead people” for a while.
Ludlow screamed at anyone who might find this objectionable. “It’s about ending fraud in Social Security!”
Kennedy believes that now DOGE and President Obama are raising it, his bill may finally become law. It is hard to imagine that anyone would object to such a sensible idea. Democrats are aligned with the opposite side of sense at this time.
But Kennedy, being Kennedy, also had one heck of a great remark when it came to Elon Musk and the tantrums of those on the left opposing DOGE. He said he thought Musk was a “rockstar” for what he was doing, and he was “all for” the cuts.
Kennedy said, “The tofu crowd are mad. But you know when you trim the fat, pigs will squeal.” “That’s the way it is.” “That’s nature’s law.”
Kennedy is the king of great expression. There could not be a more accurate description of Democrats wailing and scrambling over DOGE cutbacks.
Why would they keep the numbers of people alive who are not alive? Want to continue the fraud and/or waste? Social Security is not being hurt but rather saved. We all benefit from cutting waste, fraud, and abuse. It also makes the government more efficient. The Republicans should verbally beat anyone who holds such an unsustainable position against solving such problems.
