Joe Rogan, a podcaster, wants Elon Musk to have his Department of Government Efficiency investigate why “Snow White”, which cost $250 million to make, is being investigated.
“They should ask DOGE to watch this movie. They spent 250 million dollars making that film?” Rogan stated this during a recent show.
“Imagine that you spend $250 million and get a young girl and don’t talk to her like Hey, don’t be political.” Rogan said, “I know that you’re young and have opinions, but the focus should be on the film.”
Walt Disney Co.’s live-action “Snow White” opened with disappointing ticket sales of $43 million.
Even before the movie hit theaters, it was a struggle. In the run-up to the release, the film was dogged by controversy over its handling of CGI dwarfs and criticisms over Rachel Zegler’s comments. Disney canceled its premiere due to the PR issues.
