Randy Fine, a Republican state representative from Florida’s 6th Congressional District, won Tuesday’s special election for the U.S. House with a landslide.

Fine beat Democrat Josh Weil by 54.1%, after 83% of votes were counted. Donald Trump won this district in November by 30 points. Trump endorsed Fine before the GOP primary.

Fine’s victory is a relief to Republicans who were growing increasingly concerned about the race, as Weil had outperformed Fine on fundraising and in some polling leading up to Election Day. The 6th district is still a deeply conservative one.

Fine fills the seat left vacant by Mike Waltz, who was appointed as Trump’s national security advisor.
