Emmanuel Haro was reported missing on August 14th, after his mother, Rebecca Haro, claimed she had been attacked outside a retail store in Yucaipa. The initial report stated that Haro was rendered unconscious and awoke to find her child missing.
Authorities have been unable to corroborate Mrs. Haro’s account. According to sources within the sheriff’s department, her statement contained inconsistencies that raised suspicions. When confronted with these discrepancies, Mrs. Haro declined to continue the interview.
