Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-TX, channeled Joe Biden’s comment “put y’all in chains” when she said that President Trump’s immigration enforcement is essentially a way to bring slavery back.
Crockett made his comments during a “24 Hour State of the People Marathon”, a protest against the President’s speech to Congress this week.
The livestream featured an assembly line of guests who provided provocative and racially-charged commentary. Crockett did not disappoint.
“As they have decided to go after immigrants and these — and things like that, and they’ve said, ‘Oh, they’ve taken your black job, they’ve taken your black jobs,'” she told viewers. “Not really. they are jobs that they want us to go back to, such as work in the fields, alright?”
Crockett added, “Those immigrants who come to our country work the fields. Something we haven’t done for a very long time.” “It is clear that he wants us to go back to work in the fields.”
It’s not surprising that Crockett was not the only legislator to use race-baiting.
Hank Johnson, a similarly intellectually lacking Rep. from Georgia (of “Oh noes! Guam could capsize!” fame), echoed her sentiments and said that President Trump was trying to bring slavery back.
Johnson said that the Education Department was to blame for the plot. Jasmine claimed it was a secret.
Johnson said without providing any evidence that the plan was to prevent Blacks from getting an education. It takes us back to the days when America was “great” and we picked cotton and did the work that my Latino sisters and brothers migrate here to perform because we’re not intellectually suited to do it anymore.
He added, “But they’d have us back and confine us to that type of work.” “We have to be aware of where we’re going.”
The Tweet continues:
JOHNSON: “It takes us back to the days when America was great, and we picked cotton…they’d have us restricted to that type of work.”
Democrats want to alienate all sane voters in America if they don’t have them already.
The irony is breathtaking. This claim that education is being restricted (a strawman argument, to begin with) comes from a person whose main contribution to public discourse is a debate on the buoyancy in Guam. Do not even begin to mention how the Education Department has itself destroyed education and test results in the black communities.
Crockett’s not exactly a Mensa contender either. She believes she is, but there’s no proof to support that.
The remarks by Johnson and Crockett, which sound like a buddy-cop film in development, are strikingly similar to Biden’s 2012 statement to African Americans that Republicans and Mitt Romney wanted to “put them all back into chains.”
Jasmine is used to it all. At this point, she’s like Al Sharpton on heels, using a false racial angle to make political arguments because that’s exactly what dim-bulb Democrats will do.
Crockett, at a hearing of the House Oversight Committee earlier this year, launched into a vile tirade against minorities for being used as a means to secure seats in Congress for Republicans. She went viral for her racist screed against the “white man.”
Democrats are becoming increasingly agitated as Trump’s vision for America is implemented.
