Florida Mother Arrested on Charges of Lewd Conduct with Minor

A 41-year-old Florida woman faces serious criminal charges after allegedly making unwanted sexual advances toward a teenage friend of her son this past September.

Lisa Marie Singh was taken into custody outside a Jacksonville restaurant on November 19th following an anonymous tip to authorities. She had an active warrant for her arrest at the time. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Singh has been charged with two counts of indecent, lewd or lascivious touching of certain minors, as well as violation of parole.

Jacksonville Corrections records indicate Singh remains in custody with bond set at more than $100,000.

The charges stem from an incident on September 7th when the alleged victim, a teenage boy, arrived at Singh’s residence expecting to meet her son. The son was not home at the time. According to court documents, Singh had invited a group of teenagers to her home earlier that day following a domestic dispute with her husband.

While at the residence, the victim reported that Singh behaved inappropriately toward him, rubbing his arms and shoulders and addressing him with terms of endearment. The situation escalated when the teenager found himself alone in a room with Singh.

According to the victim’s statement to deputies, Singh complained about her marital relationship and made explicit sexual propositions. Court documents indicate she then exposed herself and insisted the boy touch her. The encounter included unwanted kissing and fondling over the victim’s clothing.

The teenage boy told investigators he did not resist or object to these advances because he felt extremely uncomfortable and did not know how to respond to the situation. He further reported that Singh threatened him with physical harm if he disclosed the incident to anyone.

The case came to light when authorities were notified of the incident, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant. Singh was ultimately apprehended months later at the restaurant location.

According to the sheriff’s office, Singh declined to participate in any interviews with investigators and referred all questions to her legal counsel.

This case represents another troubling instance of an adult in a position of trust allegedly exploiting that relationship to victimize a minor. The charges Singh faces carry significant legal consequences, reflecting the serious nature of such allegations under Florida law.

The investigation appears to be complete, with the matter now proceeding through the judicial system. Singh’s continued detention on the substantial bond amount underscores the gravity with which the court views these charges.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has not released additional information about the case as it moves forward through the legal process.
