On Friday afternoon, the jury began deliberations and arrived at a verdict by Monday.
She will be sentenced in June at the same time that her husband is due to report to prison to serve his 11-year prison term.
She admitted to 15 counts of conspiracy, including bribery, fraud, and extortion under the cover of official authority. For several of the charges, the maximum sentence is 20 years in prison.
Bob Menendez was sentenced to 11 years in prison in January after he was found guilty on all 16 counts of federal corruption in his case last year. He was the first congressman in history to have been convicted of acting as an agent for a foreign government.

Bob Menendez, according to federal prosecutors, who alleged those introductions helped establish a corrupt agreement in which they accepted bribes in exchange for her husband’s actions to benefit Egypt.

Jose Uribe is a New Jersey businessman who pleaded guilty to the charges and testified for the government last year. According to prosecutors, Uribe paid $60,000 to Menendez for the Mercedes-Benz convertible in return for his help to stifle a criminal investigation by the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office.

The trial was suspended for several days because she was also sick.
On March 17, the day before jury selection in Nadine’s case, the former senator posted a message on X stating that his wife was “forced” by the government to appear in court despite having recently undergone reconstruction surgery for breast cancer.
