Peter Navarro, the former Trump adviser, has had a long road. He was sentenced to four months in prison for refusing to comply with a subpoena issued by the shady J6 Committee. This was just another example of Biden’s Department of Justice being weaponized.
But Navarro has returned–and in a big way. Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that the economist has been chosen to be his senior trade advisor.
In an email, the Trump-Vance Transition Team praised Navarro:
Peter Navarro will be my Senior Counselor in Trade and Manufacturing. The Deep State or whatever you want to call them treated him badly. Peter was the most effective and tenacious enforcer of my Buy American, Hire American rules during my first term. He helped me renegotiate unfair Trade Deals such as NAFTA and the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement(KORUS), and moved each of my Tariff and Trade Actions FAST.
Navarro is looking to have a major influence on President-elect Trump as he prepares for his return to the White House.
Peter’s extensive experience in the White House is leveraged by his Senior Counselor role, which also utilizes his Policy Analytical and Media skills. He will help to effectively communicate and advance the Trump Manufacturing, Tariff, and Trade Agendas.
Peter is a Harvard-trained economist who is also a noted author. He has written more than a dozen best-selling books on unfair trade and strategic business management. In my first term, he did an excellent job on behalf of the American People. Peter will be even more effective as a Senior Counselor in protecting American Workers and making American Manufacturing Great again.
Navarro has made a remarkable turnaround since his triumphant July appearance at the RNC, just days after he was released from prison. He said that the J6 committee had demanded he betray Donald John Trump to save his skin. “I refused.”
CNN, MSNBC, and others are bursting with rage as the Trump train continues to roll. Navarro’s appointment could send them into a tailspin.
