A double-decker bus carrying high school students veered off its course in Eastleigh, England, plunging into a river. This unfortunate incident has resulted in the hospitalization of the driver and two passengers, with over a dozen others sustaining minor injuries.
The bus was transporting students from Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, an institution for students aged between 16 and 18 years. The cause behind this unfortunate detour is still under investigation.

“Reports indicate that the bus deviated from the highway and came to a halt in a shallow river,” the general manager of the Bluestar Bus company, Richard Tyldsley, said. He confirmed injuries to the driver and at least two passengers and is awaiting further updates on the condition of the other occupants of the bus.
All 19 passengers were evacuated from the bus, and about 14 were given on-site medical attention by paramedics, as noted by a spokesperson from the South Central Ambulance Service. In response to the crash, two helicopters, five ambulances, and multiple fire crews were dispatched to the scene.
The bus company has yet to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the crash. However, their cooperation with law enforcement is expected to shed light on the incident.”
