Bruce Willis, amidst the devastating wildfires that ravaged Southern California, took a moment to thank first responders.

Emma Heming Willis posted a video of her husband shaking hands with Los Angeles Police Department members on Instagram.

In the caption of her post, she said that Bruce never missed an opportunity to express his gratitude by giving a heartfelt thank you and shaking hands with first responders. “Yesterday wasn’t any different.”

After quitting acting in 2022, the “Die Hard” star has largely stayed out of the public eye. His family revealed in 2023 that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal degeneration (FTD).

Johns Hopkins Medicine states that FTD is a cause of dementia caused by the loss of nerve cells within the frontal and temporal lobes. This causes the lobes in the brain to shrink.

Willis’ family has provided regular updates since his diagnosis.
