It is evident that the Department of Government Efficiency led by Elon Musk continues to be a source of hysteria, and that the government’s desperation for any changes to the status quo in the bureaucracy is growing.
DOGE was at the forefront of uncovering wasteful and partisan projects that were funded by the federal government, USAID being the centerpiece of reform. The agency paid billions to left-wing causes by funneling money via various NGOs. Expenditures ranged from foreign election interference to transgender operas.
The decision to slash USAID’s budget and end the gravy train has caused a massive outrage, because Democrats never lose, not even when they do. This has unfortunately led to threats being made against Musk and his entire family. The Hill, a Democrat-friendly outlet of news, published a piece on Sunday morning that was aimed at the SpaceX owner and his family. It wasn’t just a simple article.
Musk has been criticized for his efforts at shrinking government spending, as has DOGE. The newly created agency is facing several lawsuits as critics claim that the billionaire has exceeded his boundaries.
This is a list of Musk’s family members and people who are closely associated with him.
Everyone from Musk’s young children to his ex-wives is named and described in the piece, some in ways meant to provoke embarrassment. To be sure, there is no valid reason for any of these family members to be thrust into the public eye, and The Hill’s framing makes it clear that this is in retaliation for Musk daring to take “an influential Washington role” in reforming the bureaucracy. It’s the mobster tactic of winking and nodding while saying, “That’s a nice family you’ve got there. It’d be a shame if anything were to happen to them.”
The mainstream media should be ashamed, but its members have no shame. These “journalists”, who are willing to publish anything to further their political agenda, act like ghoulish cockroaches. Some news outlets seem to be urging others to physically attack Musk and his family.
This attitude is also shared by Democrat politicians, who use “Elon Musk was not elected” as a rallying call, as if the appointment of Elon Musk were invalid, while unelected bureaucrats remain unassailable. Sen Elizabeth Warren, D-MA, recently raged and raved about the need for people to use “everything” to stop Musk.
You’d think that Democrats, given the recent murder of the CEO of a major healthcare company in cold blood by leftist class warfare, would be able to back off a little. It doesn’t matter that in the past year, two people tried to assassinate Donald Trump. But they are increasing their dangerous rhetoric. What does it mean to say “every tool?” Why does Warren use such a hesitant tone when she could simply list the legislative actions that she would like to take? We all know the reasons, and I won’t pretend that this is all innocent.
