The search for Travis Decker, the Washington state father accused of murdering his three young daughters, has entered its third month.
Reports from Chelan County, Washington, indicate that authorities have uncovered disturbing new evidence at the crime scene where the bodies of Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia Decker were discovered on June 2nd. According to reliable sources, plastic bags were found covering the heads of each child, with two of the victims having two bags each, and the third victim having three bags. Several cable ties were also located near the bodies.
The Washington State Crime Lab has conducted DNA analysis on these items. On August 6th, they reported finding DNA profiles matching Travis Decker on both the plastic bags and the cable ties. This development follows earlier reports that bloody handprints matching Decker’s DNA were found on the tailgate of his abandoned vehicle near the crime scene.

Law enforcement officials now state that these findings provide additional confirmation that Travis Decker is the sole suspect in these homicides. The facts, as we now know them, paint a grim picture of the final moments of these young lives.
The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office reports that Decker’s whereabouts remain unknown. They have no evidence to suggest whether he is alive or deceased. The U.S. Marshals Service continues to offer a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to Decker’s arrest.

This raises important questions about the long-term nature of this investigation. Sheriff Mike Morrison has acknowledged that the search could potentially last for years, stating, “We could be in a fight for five years, 10 years, 20 years.” However, he emphasized their commitment to resolving this case.
The public is reminded that Travis Decker is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities stress that anyone who sees Decker or has information about his location should contact 911 immediately and avoid any direct approach.
