She’s alive!

Haliey Welch, the viral internet star who disappeared after her meme-coin “Hawk Tuah”, $HAWK, failed to take off as expected has returned for the first time in weeks.

Welch stated in a Friday statement posted on her X Twitter account that she wanted to help those of her fans who had suffered financial losses as a result of the $HAWK meme coin’s failure. Welch wants anyone who has been affected by the crypto-crash to contact the law firm that filed the lawsuit on Thursday against the creators of $HAWK.

Welch’s last public appearance was on an X Spaces audio stream that lasted through the night and into the morning of December 4, 2018. Welch, along with the group behind Memecoin’s project, tried to explain why $HAWK had collapsed so soon after its launch earlier that day.

“Anywho, I’m gonna go to bed and I’ll see you guys tomorrow,” Welch said, interrupting a conversation on the stream before it ended. Since then, Welch has been MIA to the public for more than two weeks. Her popular weekly podcast, Talk Tuah, failed to release new episodes during that time as well. The most recent episode of the podcast was published on Dec. 3, just one day before the crypto launch.

Haliey Welch makes her first public statement about $HAWK’s collapse

According to Welch, the young viral star claims that she played no active role in the $HAWK project. She did, however, lend her brand and star power for its promotion.

Welch said in a statement: “I am taking this situation very seriously. I want to speak directly to my fans, investors who were affected, and the wider community.” “I am working with the legal team to represent the affected individuals and I am committed to helping them uncover the truth and hold those responsible accountable. This matter will be resolved.” If you have experienced losses related to this, please contact Burwick Law using the link below: https://www.burwick.law/newclient.”

Welch released $HAWK on December 4, a memecoin based on her viral “Hawk Tuah’ catchphrase. Like many celebrity-backed cryptocurrency projects, the $HAWK project was a scam. It is common for a few insiders to dump their crypto tokens after the launch of the meme coin. This usually happens when the token is released to the general public.

This meant that $HAWK’s market capitalization fell by millions of dollars shortly after its launch. Some Welch fans and crypto token investors claim that they lost thousands of dollars within minutes.

Welch made his statement just a day after a similar statement by a cryptocurrency firm that had ties to ‘OverHere,’ – the failed meme-coin. The group claims that music producer and crypto-promoter Alex Larson Schultz is to blame for the launch’s failure. According to OverHer, Schultz (also known as Doc Hollywood) “controlled all token decision, fees and treasury”.

Welch received a sponsorship payment to brand the meme-coin with her viral slogan. Welch’s sources claim that Welch had no involvement in the development or creation of the $HAWK Project beyond that. They also claim that the responsible parties took advantage of her to take advantage of her viral success.

Fear not, Talk Tuah Fans. Welch plans to continue her podcast once she clarifies her involvement with $HAWK.
